The Crestview Conference Center in West Nyack, New York facilitates state-of-the-art continuing education, training and development in an atmosphere of Christian love.

This elegant and affordable meeting center is designed to accommodate a wide spectrum of events and budgets. Featuring a range of flexible and comfortable meeting spaces for groups of as few as five to as many as 240 guests, the center is perfect for performances, concerts, recitals, lectures, luncheons, and buffets.

The Mission of the Crestview Conference Center is to provide a professional, efficient and flexible meeting space for the territory and local business community.

Our Vision is to be recognized in the territory and the local community as an excellent meeting facility because of our hospitality, professionalism and flexibility at reasonable rates. The Crestview Conference Center is owned and operated by The Salvation Army, Eastern Territory.

Crestview Conference Center Director

Major John Hodgson, Director of the Crestview Conference Center, has been an officer in The Salvation Army for over 36 years. As such, he has served communities in New York, Connecticut, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

He and his wife Lauren, who is also an officer, have served most of the careers in the New York City area. He also served in Rome, Italy for two years while on a special mission to help rebuild a village destroyed by an earthquake. He is an active member of the Rockland Business Association. Major Hodgson is also an Air Force veteran having served from 1968-72. He and his wife live in Nanuet. He has two grown sons and six grandchildren, three of whom are triplet girls.

Jasmine Larrinaga-Johnson-Food Service DirectorJasmine Larrinaga-Johnson has been immersed in the restaurant and catering industry for over 20 years, both as a chef and management director. She is a graduate from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America. As an esteemed chef, she has had the opportunity to cook for famous celebrities, and politicians, most notably, President George Bush, Sr. As Food Service Director of Crestview Conference Center, Jasmine has developed hundreds of diverse and international menus with a healthy, modern edge. She incorporates the vision of client, while offering unique, edible suggestions to impress attendees of the event.

Before entering her role at Crestview Conference Center, Jasmine was the successful Director of Food Service for the St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes School in Alexandria, VA. During her time in Virginia, she also co-owned a widely popular cafe and catering company, specializing in various fusions of cuisine.

Gina VanderWeele-Operations ManagerGina VanderWeele has expertly held a management role in event planning, for nearly a decade. In her current tenure at Crestview Conference Center, she has coordinated over 1,500 events; ranging from corporate meetings, conferences, and celebrations (retirements, anniversaries). With over 25 years of customer service experience, she specializes in translating clients’ preferences to a smooth and successful event experience. She has recently completed course work at Cornell University in Hospitality Management. Prior to entering the event planning industry, Gina professionally managed a boutique card & gift store for over a decade, integrating its presence as a staple of the community.

In her tenure at Crestview Conference Center, Gina has dedicated her efforts to develop a loyal and satisfied clientele. Throughout the Greater New York area, the Crestview Conference Center is synonymous for quality service and impeccable care, as a result of Gina’s meticulous oversight.
